Coaching Services

My coaching is not tiered for level of contact, number of changes to the schedule allowed, or how individual the plans are for each athlete. There are no contracts and athletes pay me on a monthly basis. I provide a 100% individual coaching plan with unlimited communication, and I focus specifically on progressing each athlete in his or her own way. I don’t want you to worry about sending me a text when you wake up feeling sick, tired, or work blows up your schedule. I want to optimize every training day to help you reach your short and long-term goals. I simply aim to guide my athletes in their day to day, but I require consistency and discipline. I will attend select races as a coach to support my coached athletes and I’m hosting a DKE team camp for early spring of 2025 in the Catalina Foothills of Tucson, AZ.

Personally, I am coached and I train with regular blood lactate testing to find my training zones. If that is something that interests you, I am happy to implement testing in your training program. However, it is not a requirement of athletes I coach.

Who do I coach?

  • Athletes brand new to triathlon/running who want to properly train for their first race
  • Athletes male and female ranging from 24-65 years old
  • Triathletes/Runners with injuries in the past who want a training plan that will set them up for success (Remain healthy, PR)
  • Time-strapped athletes with demanding jobs who don’t have the time/energy to plan out the training around their schedules
  • Triathletes or runners who are competitive and want to break through to the front of the pack
  • Triathletes who are very near the front but have a weakness and want to piece all three disciplines together
  • Triathletes who are planning to complete a new distance like 70.3 or Ironman and want to ensure they have the proper training and nutrition plan in place
  • Cyclists training for gravel races, time trial, or endurance road rides

Minnesota Athletes: For local DKE athletes, I offer social and training meet-ups and some team events like Gear West Tuesday Night Time Trials, group swims in Fish Lake (Maple Grove), track workouts, group rides, and more. This is all included in the monthly programming.
